Little did she understand but she was receiving words of comfort & wisdom on a daily basis in the form of poetry. Her Mother always gave words of encouragement as Keren would give her yet another verse to read, all printed out in calligraphic format with borders of forget-me-nots gracing her well planned work of art. She recalls at the age of 14 she heard of a Salvation Army Officer who had been forced off the winding road as he drove some visitors to see Mt. Wellington in Hobart, Tasmania. All were killed which made an incredible impact on Keren to the point she immediately sat down and wrote a poem which you will find to this day in one of the several books she has written & converted into E-books.
